![]() To be able to run the game in Minecraft seems almost like a logical step, given all the other systems that can now play the game, albeit sometimes in a rudimentary fashion. In fact, people have ported Doom onto some interesting devices, such as a treadmill screen, a vape pen, an iPod Mini, and even a John Deere tractor. Although it's nearly 30 years old at this point, the classic FPS is still being played to this day. Of course, id software's iconic 1993 release has had just as much of an impact on the industry as Minecraft, maybe even more so. Despite coming out in 2011, or 2009 if people count the very early versions of the game, it seems millions around the globe are still finding new things to create. It truly is a game that always has something new to discover and is probably the reason why so many people keep returning to the blocky world.
